…and a million years later, she updates.
Layout!
So, I’ve had all this art to update with. But I also had a new layout in the works. And I refused to update until I finished the new layout. And I just couldn’t finish the layout while I was worried about updating. CONUNDRUM! BUT ANYWAY. I finally made myself sit down and code this bitch. 
So there’s a new layout, full of UC gleeeeeee! 
If you’re still seeing the Emmett/Rosalie one, you can view the new one (if you want to) by going to the skins page.
Sadly, I retired two other skins. They’ve had a good run. AND FEAR NOT! They aren’t available for using to view the whole site, but you can still revisit them in their (almost) fully functional glory, also on the skins page. Scroll down to past layouts, and THERE THEY ARE! The last two previews take you to pages where you can view the previous layout. I’m hoping I can do that for most of my past layouts, but I will have to find the old skins folders somewhere on my computer

FYI, I’m closing affiliation for awhile. I have trouble keeping up these days, and once I cross off a good chunk of my to-do list for this site, I’ll probably keep affiliation open again for awhile!
I’ve also finally started updating my icon section to turn it into an archive of all my non-wallpaper fanworks. 
Site of the Month
Travis had a good run, but now it’s time for a new SOTM, y/y? Congrats to Signe at Call Her Green. And you can see why!
Art
Like I said, I’ve updated my icon section with my fanmixes! Also, I’m usually really slow at adding all my icons and stuff to the archive (I’m SERIOUSLY behind these days), but the icon section always shows the latest update from my icon journal, McRoxoring. And if I haven’t uploaded icons to my site yet, I usually post them directly to McRoxoring, so remember to browse the journal if you’re looking for something specific
And finally wallpapers! I’ve added 11 new pieces (eleven? yeah, I think that’s right.) That’s 4 Robin Hood, 4 Twilight and one each of Ryan Lochte (JEEEAAAH!), Smallville, and Doctor Who.
I’m especially proud of Walking in Your Shoes, which is a Rosalie/Jasper piece I’ve been dying to make for ages. And I finally found the perfect pictures to make it happen :heart: And YIPPEEE! Believe In Her! This is a Rose piece, but you can blame Donna Noble and Line for kicking ass and convincing me to finally watch the entire series. Anyway, I’m proud of this piece too. Also, check out my battle with Kari at Buffy Forums! That’s where most of my Robin Hood art is coming from right now, and she’s cranking out some awesome Torchwood art

Okay. So, I haven’t updated in a while. Because I’m cool. Anyway, I have bunches of new stuff!
Site of the Month
Congratulations Travis of Singing Shrimp! QueQue convinced me that you’re totally my August Site of the Month. You’re fantastic, and you can check out your award here.
As for myself, the awesomely awesome Heather gave the site a pretty new award! She’s awesome. And awesome.
And Holly was sweet enough to name More Adventurous Site of the Month last month as well! Thanks for the sweet words and pretty award
Affiliates/Site
I have quite a few talented new affiliates and a few links to update! Make sure you give these girls a visit
I’ll also be rearranging a few sections within the next few weeks/months. The icon section will become a general smaller media section to archive not only my icons and Buffy Forums banner sets, but also any fanmixes, lj headers/userinfo banners, and any blends I might make. And I’ll work on getting my resource list back up and working properly. And the ME! section will also get a big revamp, considering I call this my art/personal site, but it’s not very high on the personal side.

I made two new textures. Which are the first I’ve made in FOREVER. EVER. EVER. (I love Chris Brown, I really do. That song is awesome. 
No really, give it a listen.) They’re 1440×900.

And finally, 13 new pieces. Two of which, you’ve probably seen if you’ve been around the site in the past…month or so 
And some of the others you’ve probably seen if you’ve been around the forums. There are 6 Twilight, 3 Robin Hood, and one each of The Office, The Host, Holes, and Shia Labeouf. The entire batch of new art fills up the recent art page perfectly, and I’m kind of running out of time here, so I’ll just direct you to the art section :p A few notes:
The Robin Hood pieces: God, I’m so addicted to it. I’ve caught a few random episodes before (”Bah, nothing’s on. Oh look! Robin Hood! I always loved Robin Hood stories. Nikole likes that show. Bicycle, unicycle, unitard!” …yes, I partly blame Nikole for that Allan/Will wallpaper she made. Two too many pretty people.) and loved them, so I realized I HAD to watch the whole damn thing. And I really love Allan.
Twilight art: The most recent wallpaper contains Breaking Dawn spoilers. Nothing about any of the major characters though. The Tanya piece is based on my own personal fanon!Tanya. And I LOVE Jasper/Bella.

BWAH! I should not make promises I can’t back up. So, I didn’t lie last time, when I said it wouldn’t be so long in between updates. You might have noticed, I do at least add on new pieces every now and then. I just haven’t done any official updates. And my official explanation is that…I am a doofus. Yes, doofus. And that is usually a word I reserve only for Clark Kent When I think I’m being productive or something, that’s when I work on the site. Like, behind the scenes stuff. Re-coding mostly. And I don’t like to update until I feel that I’ve finished the task I set out to do. So, what have I accomplished?
Site
New layout! It should show up as default. But if you’re still seeing the old one, you can change it through the skins page. It’s of Emmett and Rosalie. Or Kellmett and MY Rosalie, as I’ll call them. The structure’s a bit different from the previous layouts, but I like it. If you’re a really great detective, you’ll have noticed that the version numbers of this layout and of the past layout don’t exactly make sense. That’s because there’s another layout that I almost used, but decided against, because I kept feeling as though it was missing something. But it actually went online and everything, so I might actually make it public one day.
And the new Site of the Month. Marilyne’s been up there for a long time! And this month, I’m happy to give the award to a long-time favorite. So, congrats to Wendy at Black Lagoon! And if, by some accident, you don’t know why Wendy is so awesome, you can always read why she mcroxors!
Also, I tinkered with the art pages yet again. Now you can sort through them either chronologically OR alphabetically. Cool stuff, yo!
And finally, I’ve been a really horrible affiliate lately. I’m so behind on everything, so give me a shout if I forgot you. I did update Sarah and Kimberly’s links!

I remember when I promised a bunch of new art over two months ago. And I’ll admit. I threw out half of those pieces, and reworked a few. So…I have eleven new wallpapers! That’s 7 Twilight pieces (4 Rosalie :heart, 2 Edward/Bella, 1 Bella), and one each of Harry Potter, Passions, Smallville and Clémence Poésy. You can check all those out on the recent art page, because that’s a lot to list!
And last but not least, my wonderful friend Michi was extremely awesome and built a fanlisting for me! So check that out! And then show Michi some love, and check out the rest of her awesome sites.

So, yay! I’ve been doing wallpapers a lot more frequently lately. Meaning, I really shouldn’t go another three weeks without updating in the near future

Well, I finally managed to work something out that I’ve always wanted to try. Yes, the art section is paginated! I mean, it doesn’t make much of a difference in some subsections. But I’ve been wanting to break them up into pages mainly to make viewing larger categories, like Veronica Mars and Celebrity art, easier
