our mcroxoring detective

Eh, you might find out a little more about me than you'd ever hope to know. But it's a fun read, I swear. Okay, I can't promise that, but this information might come in handy one day! No really, like if somebody asked you to name a few of my favorite things...
But really, if you for some reason would love to get to know me, you can stalk me around Buffy Forums, TFL, or VegOpt. Or you can stop stalking me, and add me at Livejournal (I'm realdetective) and we can be superawesome music buddies at last.fm!
about me
Salute MY Shorts!
I'm J.j. (Wait, there's more!) I'm from California- no, not The O.C. Or Sunnydale. Or Neptune. Or anywhere fun like that. It's an itty bitty town, and a lot of people in bigger cities say "Oh, I've heard of that!" Yeah, that isn't exactly as exciting as it sounds. It's a bit irritating actually, especially at the wrong moment. Like when they're announcing the results of a huge competition, and right before fourth place (the worst possible time to hear your county called, really), the announcer says "Hey, I've actually been to this place!" ...Never happened...Well, it did. When you hear people say that about your hometown all your life, you pretty much know when they're talking about the place. Make sense? Probably not.
if you really wanted to know...
- I love fashion. My greatest dream in life (other than my ambitions of becoming a rogue spy/detective) is to have a fashion-related career. My biggest problem is that I can never decide exactly in what field I'd want to work. But everything about fashion fascinates me, the utility and the art of it. And I love seeing the way "art" makes it's way into everyday style. I love costumes, everyday clothes, glamour and art! Most of all, I love the diversity of styles and colors and purpose.
- I really like math. Not that I'm a math genius or anything, but it has always been something I'm pretty decent at and I enjoy. Of course, if I ever do become a superspy and need to work out intricate mathematical whatnots or something in a matter of minutes...then, wow. I'll finally be able to give kids a cool answer to the popular question: "When will I EVER need this crap in real life?"
- I was born on October 24, 1988. That makes me 19. And it cracks me up...no, it TERRIFIES me to see kids (Yes, kids!) who are younger than me accomplishing so much more than I have ever done. I'm not talking about those kids who are unnaturally and annoyingly talented and doing crazy extraordinary, but normal people...who are just so much more driven than I am. Is that depressing? Well, I don't mean it to be. I mean, not that I'm calling myself a big, huge failure. I'm just working at a very, very different pace...I guess.
- Offline...what do I do? Not much of anything! Um, I love being on the computer. Coding, fanart, the people...it all fascinates me! I do kind of do stuff away from the computer though. I like going to concerts, shopping, eating. And I spend much of my time watching TV. Yes, I do. Megashock.
